Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Supportify AI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Supportify AI provides AI-powered customer support automation for Shopify merchants, including chat widgets, automated email responses, order management actions, return label generation, and ticket management. The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Shopify, Google (Gmail), Microsoft (Outlook), Meta (Instagram, Messenger), and Anthropic (Claude AI).

3. Pricing and Billing

  • Supportify charges $0.50 per AI-resolved conversation
  • All merchants receive 50 free sessions per month
  • Billing is processed through Shopify's app subscription system
  • Usage charges are billed based on your Shopify billing cycle
  • Merchants can set a maximum billing cap to control costs

4. Email Channel Integrations

The Service allows merchants to connect email accounts (Gmail, Outlook) to enable AI-powered email responses. By connecting an email account, you:

  • Authorize Supportify to read incoming emails in the connected inbox for the purpose of generating AI customer support responses
  • Authorize Supportify to send email replies on your behalf to customers who contact the connected address
  • Acknowledge that email data is processed through Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses
  • Retain the right to disconnect the integration at any time, which immediately stops all email processing and deletes stored credentials

Supportify's use of Google user data is limited to providing the customer support features described above and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use the AI to generate misleading or deceptive content
  • Connect email accounts you do not own or have authorization to use

6. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to your data, including chatbot configurations, knowledge base content, and customer interactions. We process this data solely to provide the Service. When you disconnect an integration or uninstall the app, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms:

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability, with reasonable notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

Supportify AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue from missed customer emails or incorrect AI responses. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

10. Termination

You may uninstall the Shopify app at any time. You may disconnect any email channel integration at any time through the app settings. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy (90 days), and all OAuth credentials for connected email accounts will be deleted immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify affected users of any material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.
